Hello, everybody this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this GSI outdoors three cup, stainless steel, glacier coffee percolator. Now, this percolator will let you take your coffee ritual with you wherever you go, has a nice poor spout on it, which will help minimize any dripping. And it is a three-piece design. If I take out the insides, just to show you you have your inner basket right here that the grounds go in, you have your stem, that the basket will sit on and then you have your cover that goes over it everything is dropped into your pot. And then the lids close. more

What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be checking out this trail kitchen from MORryde. Now, what this is going to do is you can set your fridge up here and your grill down here, and it all stores in the back of your Jeep. That way it has a permanent place to sit, you don't have to worry about it sliding around in the back. You wouldn't be able to put the grill on top of this, it wouldn't stay there. You'd have to set it next to there, and that takes up more space on the side. more

Hey everybody, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com where we're taking a quick look at the GSI Outdoors Escape HS Collapsible Pot. This is gonna be a 3-liter pot and it's gonna be really great for anybody who wants to have a camping kitchen but keep it very light and very compact. So the base and the lid are anodized aluminum to give you strength and good heat dissipation. It also is going to have the silicon sides so you can collapse it down and save that space. Something I like about this as well is that it's going to allow you to stash stuff inside. There's still some space in here that you can utilize so if you have the other escape accessories from GSI like this is one GSI Escape bowls. more

Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. We are here to quick look at the GSI Outdoors, Javamill coffee grinder. This is going to allow you to hand grind your own beans so you could have a fresh cup of coffee, no matter where you are. This would work out really well if you're an RVer, or maybe if you just car camping. You could bring it with you backpacking but it does weigh about 10 ounces so that's quite a bit of weight to bring with you if you're gonna be packing stuff in, but it is nice and compact so it should save a lot of space if you're doing RVing or car, or car camping or something like that. more

Review of GSI Outdoors Camping Kitchen - Gourmet Griddle - GSI23GV- Video
Hey everybody, I'm Ellen here at e trailer dot com, and we're gonna be taking a quick look at the GSI outdoors griddle, this is going to give you a nice, wide cooking surface over your camping stove to allow you to cook up a mess of flapjacks, make a big omelet, breakfast sandwich, whatever you might want to be putting on here. The thing that's kind of cool about this is that it has this kind of laser etched design, I know it's gonna be kind of hard for you to see, I'll try to bring it closer to the camera in a minute. But, what that does is it kind of combines the benefits of having a stainless steel surface, but it does have Teflon, so there's, it's kind of like honeycombed, but the part that's raised is the metal, and the part that's sunken in, or recessed, is the part that has the Teflon, so you can still use a spatula, or a steel spatula, over this and not worry about scraping up that Teflon, but it's gonna still allow, and even if it gets down into that little recessed area, to not grab on and stick, if that makes sense. So, should be kind of the best of both worlds as far as being non-stick, but still scrape-able with a metal utensil. Now, this is fairly thin, so it's not gonna be comparable to a cast iron griddle that is just a solid chunk of metal that will never move. A lot of folks have said that this will warp under high heat, so that's something to keep in mind, but I have seen a lot of folks say, yes, it does warp under high heat, but then if you let it cool and maybe just gently apply some pressure, it'll come back to true, so it's not that big of an issue. more

It's gonna save you space by being able to fold in that handle, but still have a nice durable pan to fry up any kind of delicious vittles while you're out. Hey everybody, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com where we're taking a quick look at the GSI Outdoors Escape Collapsible bowl. Collapsible, that's probably trademark somewhere. But the nice thing about this is that you can have an easy to use bowl wherever you might wanna take it, but it's still gonna pack down really nice and flat and light, so you don't have to waste too much space or weigh on having your favorite food with you. Something that I really like about this, besides the obvious there with it being super packable, is that it's also dishwasher-safe, BPA-free, this can handle boiling water and also it can take freezing. It's got a mark in the back that says it can handle above 120 degrees Celsius and below 20 degrees Celsius. It should be good for just about anything that you might want to put in here. more

This is gonna give you a really efficient and very space saving tool to have in your pack, so if you're a backpacker or if you're gonna be climbing a lot and you want to have a very minimalist kitchen this is a great way to do it. You can also use this if you're an Rver, or you're planning on using a camping stove. So it works really well for that. The HS comes from the heat-sink on the bottom. So this is going to be kind of a cross between a Santoku or a traditional Japanese knife and your more typical Western chef knife. So normally your Santoku knife would have the straight back, sheepsfoot like you see, but then it would be a straight blade. This has a bit of a curve so it's going to be more similar to that chef's knife that we know here in the West. So you can actually rock the blade up and do that chopping motion that a lot of us are familiar with. more

Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the GSI Outdoors Santoku paring knife. This is a Japanese-inspired style of knife, of Santoku knife. This isn't exactly a Santoku but it is kind of inspired by that style. So it has that sheep's foot design, which gives it a false point so that you don't have to worry about running into anybody with this, keeps it kind of safe, and normally you would just have a straight blade. This does have a bit of a curve, so it kind of gives you a cross between that a traditional straight blade for chopping, but it also allows you to do that rocking motion that we're more familiar with in the West with Western-style knives. more

These are going to be a really nice space saving tool for your camping kitchen or your RV, to make sure that you have all utensils that you need, but they're not going to take up a ton of space.So these are in the sort of compact position. Now you could probably still use them as tongs as they are, if you're just picking up a little bit of stuff, but you really want to get the most out of these, you'd want to open them up. So, swing both the pieces out and now you can grab a whole bunch of salad or chicken wings or whatever you might be cooking up with these guys.But they are made of a really durable nylon, so they're safe to use around heat. Should be fine there, so even if you're pulling stuff out of the frying pan, you shouldn't have any worries with that. They're going to be pretty heavy-duty too, so they're not going to be too flimsy. more

This is going to save some room in your pack, but still give you a really useful ladle spoon. It's also a measuring spoon as well, to bring with you no matter where you are. So if you're going to be backpacking in, or maybe you just want to save space in your RV, this is a really nice option for you.So basically, the handle is just built in this way that you can unlock it. So you're just going to pull up on the tab, and then pivot it around, and that cuts the length in half so you don't have to worry about it taking up a whole bunch of room in a drawer or your pack, and then to open it up, you just swing it around and it locks in place, so pretty simple to use.Something that I really like about it is that it actually has measurements built into the bowl of the spoon, so you can use it as a measuring spoon, as I mentioned. So it just kind of puts two things in one tool, always nice when you get two in one. more

Ellen: Hey everybody, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the Microlite insulated water bottle from GSI Outdoors. This is a nice way to bring your water with you, or really any kind of beverage that you want to keep at a regulated temperature, so if you want to have some coffee or tea inside here, you can do that as well, and it should keep your hot stuff hot, cold stuff cold, for quite a while. Easiest way to make sure that you get the most out of that is to prep the bottle before, so if you're doing hot stuff, put some hot water in there, let it sit for a few minutes, pour it out, put your stuff in, same thing with cold stuff.The thing that I like about this is that it gives you a flip top lid that's pretty easy to clean. Not really much to it, as far as that, it's just going to be a little tab that you flip up and out of the way, can easily clean that out. There is a little silicone seal on the inside to prevent any kind of spills, and it looks like this is dishwasher safe, so both parts can go in the dishwasher. This one would go on the top rack and this would go wherever it fits in your dishwasher. more

Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the GSI Outdoors Glacier Tiffin. This is going to be a nice way to transport any kind of food, whether that's some snacks, maybe some liquids like soup or favorite iced tea, coffee, or anything like that. But Tiffin typically was going to be your lunch, so you could put anything in here that you want to keep fresh. The only thing that you can't put in here is something carbonated or things that are going to ferment quickly or already fermented, so no kombucha in here and it also says no warm milk or anything like that because it can just spoil pretty quickly. But if you want to put anything else in here, again, maybe you want to put in some cucumbers for your salad or you want to put in some crackers and you want to keep them fresh and keep from going stale or a cup of soup or chili or something like that to have with you whenever you're on your hike, maybe some curry, a traditional hark back to the Tiffin origins, whatever the case might be.I think these just feel nice in the hand. more

Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the GSI Outdoors Glacier Tiffin. This is a nice compact way to bring a snack with you while you're hiking the trails. Or if you just want to have a lidded container for your stuff when you're in your RV or whatever the case might be.Typically, the traditional tiffin was sort of a lunchbox that was sort of stacked. So you could use this for transporting crackers or something like that if you want to keep stuff fresh for a long time since these are a nice sealable container, that just gives you a really nice, good seal whenever you tighten it down.You can also use it for bringing some soup or coffee or anything like that with you when you're going on a trail. And again, it's going to keep everything insulated. more

These are going to have the flip top lids and they come in one of two colors, you can either get green or red. They are sold separately, but I just wanted to show you the two side-by-side. These are pretty nice, I actually have a water bottle from GSI that I've been using for about a year, but it's the screw top one. But it is also the MicroLite so it's pretty similar other than the lid. But I'm actually thinking about upgrading to this one because that screw top, while it's fine, it does keep things cold for a really long time. more

And it's a green silicone construction, which makes it very stylish, durable and very easy to clean.Also, what's nice on the inside, in one area, they have actually molded in graduations for easy measuring and you can measure in either milliliters or ounces. more

So this is going to give you everything you see here on the table, plus a mesh storage bag to get you outdoors and camping and cooking with the best of them. So if you've got a big group to feed, like a troupe of campers, this is going to be a great way to go about it. It's a really heavy duty kit without being super heavy itself, weighs about eight pounds. So it's not the lightest kit in the world, but still very packable, very doable, especially if you're not going to be hiking too far or if you don't mind having about 8.4 pounds of weight to carry. more

Has a nice sturdy nylon base at the bottom and the rim of it is a nylon, helps retain its shape, prevent any spills. more

This is a really nice lightweight pan that's going to allow you to cook just about anything and make the most of your space on your outdoor grill. Anything that is circular, you would only have so much room and you kind of lose out on those corners. So this is going to help to maximize that space a little bit.
